3DGeo Moves to Energy
Corridor
Houston, Texas (August
8, 2002). 3DGeo Inc. (3DGeo) announced today the
relocation of its Houston, Texas facility. Located in the
Houston "Energy Corridor", 3DGeo has opened the new office
to provide additional service to its Houston-based customers
and to continue to expand its Houston customer base.
"I am very excited about
our new Houston location", said Dimitri Bevc, President of
3DGeo. "We are committing significant resources to the new
office to further enhance our ability to provide customers
with the highest level of innovation and service." In addition
to existing computer capacity in the firm's Mountain View,
California office, 3DGeo has added access to 1000 CPU cluster.
3DGeo plans to add even more computing power to the Houston
office with the purchase of a 512 CPU Linux Cluster. "This
will give 3DGeo the capacity to perform one iteration of 3-D
wave-equation depth imaging on a hundred Gulf of Mexico lease
blocks in one week," added Dimitri Bevc.
The
new office is located at:
16225 Park Ten Place, Suite 370, Houston, TX 77084

About 3DGeo
3DGeo
Inc.'s (3DGeo) is a leading provider of advanced imaging software
services for the oil and gas industry. 3DGEO was originally
formed in the mid-90s to provide a conduit to extend, commercialize,
and market technologies emerging from the Stanford Exploration
Project. The company has rapidly evolved into an organization
providing innovative and practical seismic processing-related
capabilities, especially wave equation-based complex imaging
solutions. Its creative efforts were recently recognized by
InfoWorld magazine as one of the Top 100 Innovative Companies
for 2001.
Focusing on 3-D pre-stack
depth imaging, 3DGeo is offering a truly integrated approach
to complex subsurface imaging problems. Its fast accurate
COMAZ pre-stack depth imaging algorithm provides full volume
3-D wave equation imaging at speeds equal to, or faster, than
standard Kirchhoff approaches. It is supported by a comprehensive
wave equation-based migration velocity analysis (MVA) toolbox
providing update solutions covering the full range of geologic
complexity from 3-D residual velocity analysis to full 3-D
tomography. Clients can readily participate remotely in key
decisions via INSP, a Java-based internet remote collaboration
environment for effective quality control, velocity model
building and data volume viewing. 3DGeo backs this with its
strong knowledge base experienced in developing and delivering
successful technical solutions to the E&P industry.
3DGeo is a privately-owned
company with Headquarters in Mountain View, CA.
