FAST: 3DGeo announces release of Full Azimuth Streamer Technology (FAST). This new wave-equation depth migration service is optimized for multi-streamer wide azimuth marine surveys and runs orders of magnitude faster than competing methods while retaining the same accuracy and high order imaging terms.

• FAST takes in all recorded data without any decimation.
• Steep dips are imaged because FAST does not have aperture restrictions.
• FAST can handle any size survey.
• Velocity models are built based on angle gathers generated directly from the migration insuring that the final imaging engine is consistent with the velocity model building engine.
• Because it is orders of magnitude faster than competing methods, FAST enables multiple iterations for velocity updating, insuring the best possible image.

FAST is offered as an imaging service to our clients through our Houston
processing center and is already installed at several major oil companies.
